Kate Bosworth has split from Alexander Skarsgard.

The 21 actress and the True Bloodactor who were dating for almost two years have decided to call time on their relationship, but friends insist the break-up is amicable.

“It was very mutual. And it happened a while ago,” a source said.

And it seems Alexander hasn’t wasted on time since being back on the singles’ market.

Earlier this month, he was spotted flirting with Games of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke at a party, while he recently left a star-studded bash with a mystery brunette.

“He’s single and he is loving the attention!” a source said.

Both Alexander, 34, and 28-year-old Kate were always coy about their romance, and when they were an item they refused to confirm their relationship status.

Speaking about the actor, Kate who previously dated Orlando Bloom said, “That’s a minefield, man! I’m not stepping into that. I’ve learned too well from being on that road.
