Sofia Vergara fears being typecast as nasty

Sofia Vergara is worried the world will think she’s “horrible”.
The actress, 39, says playing a hard woman in Modern Family and a horrible boss in the new Smurfs movie may have set a trend for future roles.
“I’m another scary woman in the Smurfs movie so I think I’m being typecast as these horrible characters,” says Sofia.
“But I’m really not like that. Ask anyone! I’m really the sweetest person but for some reason on screen, people like me to get mean.”
Sofia recently revealed she was teased for her “toothpick” figure when she was a little girl.
“I was ridiculously skinny. They called me ‘palillo’, which means toothpick in Spanish,” she said.
“I was still skinny, but suddenly I had these big boobs. It was terrible! I used to tell my mother, ‘I’m going to cut these off as soon as I turn 18′.
