Katy Perry talks new album

Katy Perry has no intention of resting on her laurels!
The singer who’s about to complete a physically grueling world tour plans  to spend time with hubby Russell Brand living a little but all for work purposes.
“I think I need to live a little bit after this tour so that the living gives me greater material for the next record,” she said.
“And I think that when I start to make my next record I am just going to put my finger on the pulse a bit, see what the world is feeling now, or then, or whenever that is, and try to tap in to that.”
Katy recently insisted she didn’t use any of her pop mega stardom to land the role as her favorite Smurf, Smurfette.
They had done a blind test where they took certain voices from previous interviews and matched them with the character,” she said.
“They liked my voice without even knowing who it was and when they found out, it was me, they thought that would work out.
“My personality was just a plus! They asked me to add my own nuance to it so I was able to be sassy and cute, a little mischievous and funny.”
