Ryan Gosling kept staring at Carey Mulligan

Ryan Gosling couldn’t stop staring at Carey Mulligan on the set of Drive.
The actor appears alongside the actress in the action movie and says working with her “felt good” and he asked the film’s director Nicolas Winding Refn to write in a kissing scene so he could get even closer to her.
“Carey and I, our relationship off camera was very similar to our relationship on camera. We really just kind of looked at each other. It just felt good. I just liked looking at her. And I didn’t want to blow it by saying anything,” Ryan told Total Film.
“Also I really wanted to kiss so I asked the movie’s director Nick if I could do it in the elevator scene before I smash a guy’s head in.”
And it seems the feeling was mutual as Carey has recently spoken about how much she enjoyed working with Ryan.
“My job in this film was to fall in love with Ryan Gosling rough. He was amazing, such a nice guy. He’s so sweet,” she has said.
“He spent months before the film knowing everything there was to know about cars. He built his own car for the film … and [he learned] stunt driving! He was a machine. Everyone loved him, he was a dream, he was amazing.”
