Justin Timberlake fancies himself as an action hero!

The Friends With Benefits star says he wants to make more action movies like his favorites from the Eighties.

“I grew up loving Lethal Weapon andFirst Blood,” says Justin.

“They were action movies that were performance-based and felt more real. When it comes from the character and the situation that they’re in, I just feel like I’m with them a lot more because I want to see how they’re going to handle the situation they’re in.

“I don’t necessarily need to feel like I’m watching $200 million being spent on it. I want to know how it relates to the character. And, to me, the good ones really do that.”

Timberlake who earlier this year split from girlfriend Jessica Biel recently insisted that he doesn’t need advice when it comes to his love life.

“My pals are pretty good for advice but at the end of the day it is your experience,” he said.

“I say, ‘Man up and make your own decisions’.”
