Ryan Phillippe not named as baby's papa

Ryan Phillippe is not listed as the father on the birth certificate of his ex-girlfriend’s daughter.

The Lincoln Lawyer actor was present when Alexis Knapp gave birth to baby Kailani last month, and though the youngster’s full moniker is listed on the official document as Kailani Merizalde Phillippe Knapp, nothing has been entered in the space for the father’s details, a copy obtained by TMZ has shown.

Ryan and Alexis briefly dated in 2010, but it wasn’t until long after their split she made it public that she was pregnant.

While it has not yet been confirmed whether Ryan who also has kids Ava, 11, and seven-year-old Deacon with ex-wife Reese Witherspoon is the father of the baby, Alexis has previously said she doesn’t expect the actor to take responsibility for the child.

Her representative explained, “She has never asked Ryan for any help, nor does she expect it.

“Alexis has maintained her silence and will continue to do so. She continues to appreciate the love and support of her family and friends.”

Since dating Alexis, Ryan had an on/off relationship with actress Amanda Seyfried, until they split in June.
